Asmana, the wellness centre of Florence
Opened in 2015, the wellness center Asmana, the largest in Italy, in Campi Bisenzio, a few kilometers from Florence, has established itself on the national and international scene as one of the most advanced wellness centers in Europe, thanks to its modern structure, an oriental philosophy of wellness and a Central European spa organization. Asmana Wellness World is a corner of paradise at Campi Bisenzio (the word "asmana", which comes from Indian, means "paradise"), founded in 2015 by Ariba Tanvir, Indian, and Florentin Doring, German, both consultants at McKinsey in New York who, at some point in their career, decided to undertake a project that would allow them to lead a less hectic life. Tanvir and Florentin were not content to open "one" Spa: they have in fact built the largest Spa in Italy, with a total area of 18,000 square meters, 6,000 of which are covered, and a current capacity of 750 people per day.
Immersed in the green of the Agricultural Park of the Florentine Plain, Asmana Wellness World has an outdoor environment with tropical palms and a beach with sand from the coasts, as well as pools of heated water at a temperature between 35° and 37°, usable throughout the year. Inside, the baths are equipped with the latest technology, whirlpools for every part of the body, from the foot to the neck. One of the most appreciated places by visitors is the "cave", with an internal waterfall of 8 meters, which gave Asmana the "Italian Pool Award 2017". The centre also has the largest Hammam in Italy, with an octagonal heated swimming pool around which the Tepidarium develops and steam baths such as the purifying one, the sensorial one and the foam room.
It is open all year round from 10am to midnight and has an outdoor setting surrounded by tropical palm trees and the uniqueness of an 8-metre indoor waterfall, but the most inviting aspect is definitely the possibility of guaranteeing a five-star wellness experience at a price accessible to all.
